Dear customers,

as a result of REACH Regulation which has come into force this year, we release the following information:

On the 28th of October 2008 the European Chemicals Agency ECHA published the first “Candidate List” of 15 substances which require the liability to submit relevant information. We have attached the original press release as download.

The candidate lists include the product Bis(2-ethyl(hexyl)phthalate) (DEHP) , which, as based on our state of knowledge, is identified in First Aid Vinyl Disposable Gloves with more than 0,1 % (w/w).

Application of vinyl disposable gloves as protection means against infection has been acknowledged worldwide as first aid activity and  it is the state-of-the-art.
