The directive DIN 13 164, which determines the content of first aid materials to be carried in motor vehicles, has been revised by experts of the German Institute of Standardization ( Deutsches Institut für Normung). The new norm came into effect on January 01, 2014 with a transition period of one year. The modification is based on the content’s change. The experts of the German Institute of Standardization overworked the content of DIN 13 164 in order to enable an even better and faster first aid at the place of accident.
